ADMISSION FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2010-11

The Board of Directors of Pragna Institution announces admission for Academic year 2010-11 for Nuesery to Intermediate with State Syllabus. The admission will be granted on First Cum First Basis, Assessment Test availability of Seats in each class. Please note that all students admissions are at the discretion of the school Management and Directors – No Objection will be entertained.

1. Admission requirements
The following must be submitted at the time of admission:

Two recent passport size photographs and one stamp size photograph of the student, His family photograph.
Birth Certificate
Original T.C/ Record sheet of the previous school attended (if applicable).
Original certificates of any Public/Board examinations already taken (if applicable)
If the candidate belongs to SC/ST/BC, enclose the attested photocopy of the relevant certificate.

Note: All the originals must be submitted for verification at the time of admission.

2. FINANCIAL AID
As part of the management’s vision and philosophy, the school extends a certain quantum of need based financial aid each year to Indian resident parents whose children are meritorious in academics, activities or sports. Aid is awarded at levels of 15%, 25% and 30% of the Annual School Fee. Such parent’s are required to apply for the financial aid through our request letter which will be screened on the merit of each case to decide the level of grant.

The school has a complete and unquestionable right to withdraw all grants if it finds that the student is not meeting the expected/ acceptable levels of conduct, behavior and academics. It is also important for the parent to comply fully with all the school rules and requirements for the grants to be renewed each year.

3. Age Criteria
For admission to Pragna Institutions we normally expect the child to be within the age group mentioned against the class in the following table. The age mentioned may be relaxed at the discretion of the School Admissions Committee based on past academic achievement and performance in our testing procedures, provided the student has graduated from a recognized school.

4. Admission Test
The testing procedures will be adapted to suit the age of the child and we welcome the opportunity to meet parents. The admission test comprising English, Mathematics and Science will be conducted at the school campus.

5. Admission Decision

The decision of the School Admissions Committee will be final and no correspondence or discussion on the matter will be entertained. The names of the selected candidates will be displayed in the office too.

6. Working days and timings

Pragna Institutions Monday to Friday with the following timings.

Nursery to X è 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

Students may be expected to stay back for longer hours on certain days for co-curricular activities.

7. School Uniform

8. Payment of Fees

The fee is to be paid by the way of cash / in the school office.
The fee schedule given in the prospectus is subject to change from time to time at the discretion of the School Management.
Fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances.
The mere submission of an application for admission does not guarantee admission.

9. Request Application for Issuing TC by Parents

Request Application for issuing TC for there wards should be maid by the parents before 15th December of the Academic year of Study.
If the request application for issuing TC is maid by the parents after 15th December of the academic year study parents shall have to pay 50% of the next Academic Year Fee.
